Viddy Cottage is the name of the artists and Jewellery maker Stacey Sibley’s cottage in Port Isaac

Stacey’s new studio is based in an old Fish Cellar on the Pentus Wall in Port Isaac bay called

The pilchard press studio and has enviable views of the sea and the cliffs surrounding it.

“ The views looking out to the sea are pure heaven”

Stacey has been drawing and painting since she was a small child and loves anything creative. Working as a Interior Designer for over 27 years it was in recent years that she began painting and illustrating again. Taking inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of Port Isaac she began to draw and paint watercolours. The buildings in Port Isaac are always a great source, especially as Stacey loves the history of them. Recently She has started to experiment with Acrylic painting with a special interest in boats and the sea. Stacey commented “ I love to capture the detail in the fishing boats and sail boats around Cornwall especially aerial views which give them a completely different dimension”

Drawing inspiration not only from buildings but also nature, and the beauty of the world around her.

Recently another one of Stacey’s passions has been Silversmithing and Jewellery making, combined with her love of beachcombing and having drawers full of sea glass collected from the beach in Port Isaac. She works in silver, copper and brass using sea glass, sea pottery and gemstones in her work.
